Boutique Aveda Lifestyle Salon rebrand

CLIENT: FRESH LIFESTYLE SALON & SPA

Established Aveda Lifestyle Salon, Fresh Lifestyle, have opened their new flagship salon in the prestigious One Fitzroy development in Fitzrovia. In going through the process of designing the new space, it was clear that the branding needed to keep pace with the understated luxury being planned for the interior. 

What has been delivered is a sleek logo that performs across all branding platforms and now holds its own when partnered with the strong Aveda logo. A refined brand tone of voice has been established befitting this stylish new location, and the branding has been carried consistently across all aspects of the business - from window legends & lightboxes to business collateral and e-comms.

East meets West (London...)

CLIENT: RADIO LONDON & BUMBLE AND BUMBLE

Prestigious East London salon Radio London, in collaboration with Bumble and bumble, have launched a Blow Dry Bar at Fenwick Bond St, in the heart of prestigious Mayfair, launching Radio to a new West London audience. I designed the branding, wrote the copy, created the business collateral and curated the visual merchandising in the retail area.

CLIENT: GOOSEYGOO

GooseyGoo.co.uk aims to shine a light on all the hidden and forgotten industrial relics that reside alongside us in the UK - either as well preserved heritage sites, or as overgrown and uncared for wrecks. GooseyGoo aims to educate and inspire people to take charge of their own local industrial heritage. GooseyGoo needed branding for their new website, it needed to be engaging and avoid the industrial visual cliches.

American Crew® launch in John Lewis

CLIENT: REVLON PROFESSIONAL

Leading male grooming brand American Crew® have launched their iconic brand into top John Lewis doors. Helen Francis Creative designed & project managed the installation of their promotional Barbershop in John Lewis Oxford St in partnership with Tenn Ltd. The brief was to create a Crew Corner within John Lewis to introduce new consumers to the American Crew® brand - showcasing classic styling and their barbering authority.

Aveda launches first Experience Centre in Antwerp

CLIENT: Aveda Benelux

The launch of the first Aveda Experience Centre in Antwerp was a high profile project for the Aveda Benelux team, and as such they wanted experienced hands on visual merchandising. I worked with the team in the run up to the opening to ensure all visual elements were accounted for, and provided sourcing assistance when required. I spent the day with the team getting the store picture perfect and ready for launch.

Warm, enveloping Aveda Spa retreat

CLIENT: AVEDA UK

The challenge was to create a luxurious retreat in the existing basement spa, away from the bustle of Covent Garden above. With low ceilings, and in a relatively small space, there was need to create a feeling of space and height, whilst keeping the spa guests cocooned before, during and after their treatment. Dark chocolate brown was used to create a feeling of being enveloped whilst simultaneously disguising the low ceiling. Circular mirrors were used to reflect the lantern illuminations, and sumptuous golds and teals provided the perfect foil to the dark surround. Antique Indian furniture and artefacts were sourced to ensure the spa remained true to Aveda's ancient Ayurvedic heritage.

Fitzroy Place Mural

CLIENT: BUMBLE AND BUMBLE

When Estee Lauder Companies moved to their plush new head office in Fitzrovia, uniting their portfolio of brands under one roof, Bumble and bumble took the opportunity to create a Salon Training space that encompassed everything they stand for as a company - A Centre for the Craft, Culture and Commerce of Hairdressing. They commissioned a seven metre long wall mural to illustrate their dedication to the craft of hairdressing in the playful, tongue-in-cheek way we know and love them for. One of my most enjoyable jobs to date!

Visual Timeline for Aveda's iconic Shampure family

CLIENT: AVEDA UK

Aveda UK commissioned a visual timeline to celebrate 25 years of their iconic Shampure range, with botanical illustrations showcasing just a few of the 25 pure plant and flower essences that combine to create the unique and captivating Shampure aroma.

 

Cool hair at Christmas with Bumble and bumble.

CLIENT: BUMBLE AND BUMBLE

Bumble and bumble wanted to create a unique event for retail partners Boots at Christmas. The brief was to create a campaign promoting Bumble and bumble party hair looks - the guest chooses from one of the illustrated hair looks which is then recreated for them by a Bumble and bumble session stylist.
